I've been thinking about Janie and Eddie Davis a lot and feeling for everyone in Cleveland who knew them. It's almost hard to imagine the community without them, considering how much a part of it they were. Janie's work at American Home Savings and the accounting department at P2S brought her into contact with so many people, and she really seemed like the kind of person who left a positive impression wherever she went.
Knowing they also owned businesses like the Burger Barn contributes to that picture of them as friendly faces around town. I'm curious if anyone here used to frequent their smoke shop or the Burger Barn. It feels like those small, everyday interactions are what really make up the fabric of our communities. Does anyone have stories or memories of Janie and Eddie from those places? Maybe it could help more of us remember them for the vibrant lives they led rather than the sadness around their passing.
I can't stop thinking about the tragic loss of Janie Marie and Eddie Davis. Those who knew them speak so fondly of their kindness and the impact they had on the local community. I’m curious if anyone remembers how their businesses, like the Burger Barn, brought people together? I drive by that place and it just feels so different now, knowing the story behind it. Supporting each other through times like these is so important, so if anyone has memories or reflections, I’d love to hear them. Sending love and strength to their family and friends during this unimaginable time.
