I came across this case while researching unsolved murders and it just really got to me. I've been thinking a lot about Elijah Mothershed’s non-profit work and how much good he was doing in the Oklahoma City community, especially with at-risk youth. It's incredibly sad to think that someone who was making such a positive impact met such a tragic end alongside his fiancée and her young daughter.
It’s shocking that there still haven't been any leads or arrests, considering Elijah was such a well-known community figure. I wonder if the absence of any signs of forced entry could mean that they knew the person who did this? It's all just so uncertain and incredibly difficult for the family and community who are left without answers. This senseless act has robbed them of three beloved individuals, highlighting how precious and fragile life really is. If anyone has more insight or any new developments, please share. I really hope justice finds its way soon for Elijah, Carnesha, and Roshawna. Sending strength to all who are mourning their loss.

I've been thinking about the situation Elijah's family must be in right now, especially considering the lack of progress in the case. It's been years, and I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it must be for them to see no justice or answers for their loved ones. The investigation seems to have stalled, and that has to be unimaginably frustrating.
What's particularly chilling is how Elijah seemed to have opened the door himself. It makes you wonder if the assailant was someone familiar to them, or maybe someone he trusted. It's a horrifying thought, but it could explain the lack of forced entry.
For such a tight-knit community where Elijah was well-loved and respected, it's surprising that more people haven't come forward with information. Maybe there's fear or something else holding them back. I really hope that changes because the family deserves closure and peace.
