I've read accounts of how her warmth and generosity affected many lives. My heart goes out to her fellow staff at Mercy Hospital, who must be reeling from losing not just a colleague, but a dear friend. It’s these small ripples that remind us of the interconnectedness in tight communities and how a single tragedy can affect so many layers of people’s lives. Keeping the town and Alicia’s family in my thoughts as they navigate through this difficult time.
