Did anyone else notice that the timing of the report feels a bit off in Willie Pickens' case? His sister reported him missing in August 2016, but she hadn't seen him since maybe January or February of that year. That's such a long gap! I know sometimes families don’t stay in constant touch, but wouldn't there have been something else that might have raised alarm bells sooner? Maybe a missed birthday or holiday? I'm curious what was happening in his life during those months, and if anyone else in Fort Worth had any interactions with him during that time. I feel like there has to be more to the story that could help patch together those missing pieces. Does anyone have thoughts on why there was such a delay in reporting, or have seen similar cases with long gaps like this?
Has anyone else wondered about the timeline concerning Willie Pickens' disappearance? It's strange that his sister reported him missing in August even though she hadn't seen him since January. That gap has always puzzled me. Was there regular communication between them during those months, or did something change that prompted her to report it so much later? Sometimes the delay in reporting can be an essential clue, but there’s hardly any info available about what was happening in his life around that time. Has anyone found more detailed background about his activities earlier in 2016, or does anyone have thoughts on why the delay might have occurred?
I was doing some digging into Willie Pickens' case and found something that's been bugging me since – why was there such a long gap between when his sister last saw him and when the disappearance was reported? I know there's not much info out there, but this part seems odd to me. Could there have been something happening in those months that contributed to the delay? Maybe there was some kind of misunderstanding or miscommunication? Or could it be that nobody realized how serious the situation was until later? Just curious to know what you all think or if anyone has heard anything else about this aspect of the case.
