I've been following the case of Johnathon Ames Short, and one thing that really sticks with me is how interconnected he was with both Oklahoma and New York. His nickname "Kupkake" reflects a person who must have brought warmth and memories to those around him, no matter where he was. It's tragic to see how this vibrant life ended so brutally and abruptly. I keep thinking about his family, stuck between two states that both held parts of his life, having to grapple with such an unimaginable loss. What's particularly puzzling is the lack of progress in the investigation. How does someone end up on the street with multiple gunshot wounds, and there's seemingly no trace of who did this? It’s unsettling. With everything being so public nowadays, you’d think there would be CCTV or at least more witness accounts given the area and the time. Hoping that the Tulsa Police can get a break in the case soon. For Johnathon's family, they deserve to see justice and to know that the person responsible is held accountable. If anyone knows anything, it’s crucial to come forward—you could help a grieving family finally find some peace.
