Hey everyone, I've been following the case of the missing boater, James Gray, from Naukati Bay and I can’t stop thinking about his dog. It’s strange how the dog was found safe on the boat while James is still missing. It makes you wonder if the dog was left behind on purpose or if something happened suddenly—it could offer clues to what might have occurred. Does anyone know if the dog was checked for injuries or if there's been any more info on its condition? It might provide some insight into what happened when they were last together. Thoughts?
Did anyone else notice the role of the local community in this situation? It's quite something to see how the residents of Naukati Bay and nearby areas came together to try and find James Gray. Given that it's such a small community, with around only 100 people, it's likely that everyone knows everyone, which adds another layer of urgency to their search efforts. Friends willingly became searchers, navigating their own boats hoping to find any sign of him. It's such a powerful reminder of the bonds within tight-knit communities, especially in remote areas like Southeast Alaska. I'm curious how common it is for residents in these isolated areas to band together like this. Does anyone have similar experiences or stories?
