I was thinking about Blake's case today, and it's so unsettling how much this has impacted the whole community. I grew up in Seminole, and it's always been the kind of place where you feel safe letting your kids play outside or leaving your door unlocked. Hearing about what happened to Blake has really shaken that sense of security for a lot of us who call this place home. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that something so violent could happen here, in a tight-knit community where we're used to looking out for one another. Blake didn't deserve what happened, and the fact that no one has been arrested yet is just baffling. How is it possible that someone could commit such a terrible act and still be out there living their life? My heart goes out to Blake's family and friends during this terrible time. They deserve to know who did this and why. Hopefully, the OSBI will turn up some leads soon, and the person responsible will be held accountable. If anyone out there knows anything, now is the time to step up and speak. Let's keep Blake’s family in our thoughts and hope for some answers soon.
