I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on something that's been bothering me about Stephen Hill's case. I can’t get out of my head what one of the neighbors reported about seeing Stephen with his hands up before he was shot. That's such a powerful image and just so tragic. It paints a picture of someone who didn't want any trouble and was possibly trying to de-escalate the situation. Stephen seemed like he had a lot to live for, especially being described as a funny and talented welder. It's devastating to think about what his family is going through, especially his uncle who seems so deeply affected. I genuinely hope they find some comfort and justice as the case moves forward. Anyone else feels the weight of that detail? It's just so hard to process.
