Has anyone else been following the Fernando Cristobal Ortiz case? Something that puzzles me is the fact that he supposedly reconnected with family in Mexico but hasn’t reached out to anyone in California since. If he really wanted to cut ties, it seems odd that there’d be reports of him being back with relatives in Mexico, unless those reports aren't reliable. Could it be that he’s choosing to stay under the radar in Mexico for reasons we don’t fully understand? Maybe there's some pressure or threat he's trying to avoid back in Porterville.
