I’ve been following the discussion around Jordan Esteban’s tragic case, and something that's really been on my mind is the role of parental guidance and gun safety. Knowing that a young life was taken because of a mishandled firearm is deeply unsettling. It's a stark reminder of how essential it is to educate kids and teens about the dangers of guns, whether they have them at home or encounter them elsewhere. Jordan was just 17, with so much potential ahead of him. I can't imagine what his family is going through right now. The burden on them must be immense, not only dealing with their loss but also navigating the legalities surrounding his death. The community truly needs to rally for stronger gun safety education to prevent such tragedies from happening again. My heart goes out to Jordan’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
