Has anyone else been following the case of Yolanda "Lala" Brown and JeTannue "Kool Aid" Clayborn? It's so tragic what happened to them, and even more upsetting that it's been so many years without resolution. I came across a community event held in their memory, and it really struck me how tight-knit and supportive the Milwaukee music scene is. It's clear both Lala and Kool Aid meant so much to so many people. The part that really gets to me is how the suspect was supposedly identified in 2016 and yet nothing came of it. It must be so incredibly frustrating for their families and friends to have these glimpses of hope, only for them to lead nowhere. It feels like they’re stuck in this never-ending cycle of waiting, which just adds to their pain. If anyone here knows more about what happened with the 2016 developments, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Maybe sharing more could bring someone forward who knows something. These two deserve justice, and their families need answers.
