Has anyone else been thinking about the restraining order aspect of the James Witt case? It's been on my mind how Shawn Witt was able to get back into his father’s home despite the temporary restraining order in place. I wonder if there were any lapses in the enforcement or if this is just another example of how sometimes these orders aren’t enough to protect people at risk. I’ve read about similar situations where restraining orders fell short, and it breaks my heart knowing that James might have been feeling unsafe in his own home. Does anyone here think there should be a review of how these orders are handled to prevent similar tragedies from happening? It's hard not to feel for the Witts and wonder if more could have been done to protect James.
