Did anyone else feel a chill reading the part about the green vehicle pulling up? I can't even imagine the fear Jose Rivera must have felt in those last moments. From what I've read, there were several witnesses who helped piece together what happened, which probably brought some relief in getting closer to justice for his family. Patterson’s identification through the photo lineup seems like a critical turning point in the case, but cases like these remind us how quickly things can go wrong. It's incredibly sad that something as seemingly mundane as a transaction over marijuana could escalate to such a tragic loss. Jose’s family must be going through so much pain; I hope they can find some solace knowing that there’s a community rooting for justice to be served.
