Has anyone else noticed that the El Paso Cold Case Unit seems pretty proactive compared to similar teams in other cities? I’ve been following Benito Rodriguez’s case, and while it’s frustrating that they haven't found any new information, it seems like the detectives are genuinely doing everything they can by collaborating with bigger agencies like the Texas Rangers and the FBI. I’ve seen discussions where family members of other missing persons feel left in the dark, so maybe there’s some hope in knowing that his case is still being actively looked at. That said, I can't help but wonder what more could be done to bring fresh attention or leads to this case. What do you all think – have there been any successful examples of public campaigns to raise awareness for cold cases like Benito’s?
