I just stumbled upon Timothy and Troy's case, and it's puzzling me. Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions at the time they went missing? I know that area can have some pretty unpredictable weather, especially in the spring. I wonder if there was a sudden change that might have contributed to their skiff capsizing. Any locals or folks familiar with the Metlakatla region who can shed some light on how quickly conditions might change out there? Also, any history of accidents around Blank Island would be really helpful to know.

I've been following Timothy's case, and I've been thinking about the weather conditions on the day he went missing. Does anyone know if there were strong currents or any unusual weather patterns around Blank Island that day? It seems like the skiff capsized relatively close to land. Could it have been due to something unexpected with the water? This case feels really challenging, especially with the debris found nearby. Also, I’m curious if Troy Smart was experienced with the waters in that region. Any insights from locals or those familiar with the area would be really helpful.
