I've been following the case of Jose Velasquez pretty closely, and something that puzzles me is how little information there is about who might have seen him last. Given that he left his family's residence voluntarily, it makes me wonder who he was meeting or where he was planning to go. Are there any witnesses who remember seeing him that day? Were there any neighbors or friends Jose reached out to beforehand? It's just strange how a young person can leave home and then vanish without a trace. I wonder if he had any online activity that might provide clues. The digital footprint can sometimes be a crucial piece of the puzzle in solving these kinds of cases. Anyone have thoughts on this or common places teens in the area might hang out that should be checked again?

Has anyone else noticed the lack of public awareness around Jose Velasquez's case? It's frustrating to see how some missing persons cases get so much coverage, while others like Jose's seem to slip through the cracks. In 2017, there was hardly any media attention after he disappeared. Given the size of Atlanta and its surrounding communities, it's surprising there haven't been any new sightings or leads. Maybe more awareness could spark the right tip from someone who might have seen him or heard something. What can we do to help bring this case back into the spotlight?
