I was thinking about the role of cellphone records in modern investigations, especially in cases like Ricky Riggins'. It’s so chilling to see how technology can both aid and expose. In this instance, it was pivotal in linking Robert Black to the tragic scene. It makes me wonder how many cases in the past might have had different outcomes if such tech had been available. While it brings some semblance of justice for Ricky’s family, it’s equally sobering to realize how something so intangible yet powerful can piece together events leading to such a devastating loss. Thoughts or insights from anyone experienced with digital evidence?

I’ve been following the Ricky Riggins case, and one detail that really baffles me is the supposed motive. It seems so trivial for something as precious as a human life to be lost over just $80. It raises so many questions about what was really going on between Ricky and Robert Black. Could there have been other factors or tensions that we just don’t know about? It’s hard to wrap my head around it all. Ricky's friends and family must be grappling with these same questions, and I can’t imagine how difficult this journey must be for them. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this devastating crime.
