I've been following the tragic case of Roland Cumberlander Jr., and my heart goes out to his family and the entire Milwaukee community. I'm particularly concerned about the impact this has on Roland's young son. Growing up without a parent is incredibly tough, especially under such tragic circumstances. It’s moments like these that highlight the far-reaching consequences of violence—not just the immediate loss of life, but the lasting void it leaves behind in the lives of loved ones. I’m wondering if there has been any community initiative, like a support group or fund, set up to help Roland's son and others in similar situations? It could be a meaningful way for us to come together and show that although justice hasn’t been served yet, Roland's family isn’t alone in this fight. If anyone has information or ideas, maybe even a local charity that helps children who've lost parents to violence, please share. We might not be able to bring Roland back, but we can certainly help light a path forward for his son. Stay strong, Milwaukee.

I’ve been following the discussions around the tragic death of Roland Cumberlander Jr., and I wanted to share some thoughts on the vigil that his family held. It’s really admirable how they are trying to transform their grief into a call for change and unity in the community. It’s clear that his family and friends are deeply affected, and it must be incredibly difficult for them to cope with such an immense loss, especially knowing that Roland was a father himself. I feel that these vigils do more than just honor the memory of lost loved ones—they also spotlight the pervasive issues of gun violence that unfortunately affect many communities. It's heartening to see people come together in support, but it also highlights the urgent need for more effective measures to curb this violence. I hope that collective efforts from both the police and the community can lead to some breakthroughs in Roland’s case and, more broadly, in addressing the root causes of violence in Milwaukee. My thoughts are with Roland's family and especially his young son during this tough time. May they find some peace and comfort as they await justice.
