It's so devastating to think about how Dejah Adkins and Frank Cardona's visit to Milwaukee ended in such a tragedy. I can't even begin to imagine what their families are going through, grappling with such a senseless loss. What really strikes me is the contradiction between how Dejah was described as a low-key teen who loved math and animals, and the circumstances of that night. I wonder what led to Dejah and Frank getting involved in a plan like this. Did they willingly participate, or was there more to it, maybe some pressure or manipulation? It's a reminder of how quickly things can spiral out of control, especially for young people who may not fully grasp the risks they’re taking. Their whole lives were ahead of them, and this just shouldn’t have happened. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved them. If nothing else, I hope that this case can highlight the importance of talking to teens about the potential dangers they face and how they can stay safe. Such a terrible outcome and it's something we don't want to see repeated.
