I find myself thinking a lot about the community impact after the tragic loss of Jocelyn and Richard Miller. It's just so upsetting how a loving father and his talented daughter could be taken away so violently and senselessly. I didn’t know them personally, but reading about Jocelyn, she seemed like an amazing person. Her involvement in music, especially playing the saxophone for so long, shows just how dedicated and bright she was. Living in a close-knit community like Manitowoc, something like this reminds us all of how interconnected we are. The whole town has come together to show support for their family and friends, and I think that's really important for healing. The courtroom proceedings must have been incredibly intense for everyone, especially given the shocking motive. It’s a little comforting to know the community has been relentless in seeking justice and providing support. To those who knew the Millers, I hope they find a sense of peace and continue sharing memories of such wonderful people. Does anyone know if there are any community events or memorials dedicated to keeping Jocelyn’s spirit alive through music? Sometimes those shared experiences can help in such a tough time.

It's just so devastating to think about the bright future Jocelyn had ahead of her and how it was cut so horribly short. I came across an article that talked about how Josie used to play the saxophone in school jazz band and how much she loved music. It's heartbreaking to think that such a young life, full of potential and creativity, was taken so violently. It's clear she touched many lives, not just with her music, but with her vibrant spirit. My heart aches for her friends, classmates, and all who felt her warm presence. I think it's important for us to remember and honor her not just as a victim of this senseless crime, but as someone who brought joy to many people’s lives. Music can be such a beautiful bond, and it seems Josie really shared that gift with her community. Praying for her family, and hoping they find some peace and comfort in the memories of her bright smile and laughter.
