I’ve been reading about the tragic incident outside Warren's Lounge, and something that's been on my mind is the children involved. It's devastating to think about Rodney Robbins driving there with three kids in the back seat. Regardless of his intentions that night, the fact that these children were brought so close to such violence is deeply troubling. Imagine the long-term impact these traumatic events might have on them. They were innocently caught in the crossfire of adult conflicts, something no child should ever have to witness. I hope they have access to the support and counseling they need to process what must have been an absolutely terrifying experience. It’s important to consider how such incidents ripple out, affecting not only the immediate victims but also innocent bystanders, especially the young ones who are often overlooked. Sending thoughts to all involved, especially those innocent children who had no choice but to be there.
