Has anyone else noticed the pattern in the attacks on Michael Scully? It’s incredibly concerning that he was targeted not once, but three times in a span of just over a month. The fact that the escalation went from a tire iron attack to a shooting, and then finally his murder, really suggests that someone was determined to silence him for good.
It must be so difficult for his family and friends to cope with the loss, especially knowing that this might have been avoidable if law enforcement had cracked down harder after the first two incidents. I feel for them and for the community of Machesney Park/Rockford who have been living with this unresolved tension. I hope that someone who knows something steps forward soon.
