Anyone else puzzled by the timeline of Carol Marlene Ferguson's case? Her last communication was on September 27, 2017, when she canceled plans with a friend. I'm wondering why it took until October 11 for her truck to be found at the Putvin Trailhead. Was anyone actively looking for her between those dates, or did it take some time to raise the alarm because of her tendencies to hike and travel alone? Also, considering her possible dementia, did anyone notice unusual behavior leading up to when she went missing? I feel like this part of the timeline could be key in understanding what might have happened. It’s just baffling how someone can seemingly vanish without any substantial leads or sightings once the vehicle was found. If anyone here has insight into how cases like this are typically handled, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
