I’ve been thinking a lot about the family dynamic that must have existed before this tragedy. It’s just unimaginable to picture the trust and love Bonnie and Robert must have had for Adam at some point, leading them to care for him as they did. What drives someone to commit such an unspeakable act against the very people who took them in? It's so distressing to think about how families can harbor such deep conflicts beneath the surface. I hope the surviving relatives receive all the support they need to navigate this pain and confusion. Losing family members in such a violent manner must be incredibly difficult, and having to deal with this betrayal adds another layer of devastation. My heart goes out to them as they process this terrible event.
