Does anyone know if there's been any community-led initiatives or vigils held for Evan Santos Montanez since his tragic death? I’ve seen communities come together in beautiful ways for victims and their families in other cities, and it got me thinking about how Evan’s family and friends must be feeling in the aftermath of this horrible event. I’m particularly interested in any support systems that might have been set up or if there’s been a gathering to honor his memory. In situations like this, the showing of local support often helps bring some comfort to those grieving, letting them know they’re not alone during such a tough time. It’s comforting to see that Milwaukee is acting on violent crimes, but seeing neighbors and friends step up to support the families directly hits home for so many people.
