Hey everyone, I can't help but remember Kenneth D. Bowens Jr., and my thoughts are with his family and friends who must still be feeling his loss to this day. It's been over a decade since he was taken from them, but I think about how Mount Hope Cemetery must stand as a heavy reminder of the countless lives lost during that year in Chicago. When we visit places like that, it really puts into perspective the magnitude of the violence that has plagued the city. It's so frustrating thinking about how systemic issues like economic disparities and gang conflicts continue to fuel such tragedies. I often wonder what more could have been done back in 2012 to prevent incidents like this and protect people like Kenneth, who deserved so much better. What do you guys think about how Chicago's handling things now compared to then? Do you think we've made any real progress? Would love to hear your thoughts. Stay safe out there.
