Does anyone else find it unsettling how the Water Street district had a string of violent incidents even before Kenneth Parker's tragic death? It's truly distressing to think about. I feel for Kenneth's family and friends who have to grapple not only with his loss but also with the unsettling environment where it happened. I hope the increased police presence in the area at least brings some sense of security to the community. It's clear from how quickly the suspect was apprehended that swift action can make a difference, but I keep wondering what more can be done to prevent these types of tragedies in the first place. How do others feel about the situation on Water Street, and do you think the community efforts will lead to any lasting change?
