Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Demiterce Harper case and I'm curious about the community's response to Mr. J's Lounge after such a devastating incident. It's so tragic what happened to Demiterce and Robb Smith before him. You can't help but wonder if stronger police presence or community-led initiatives could help prevent these violent outbursts. I noticed the bar’s owner decided against renewing the license, but I’m concerned about what might open up there next. How do we make sure any future business contributes positively to the neighborhood and doesn’t repeat these scary patterns? Thoughts? I’m just a person hoping for a safer corner of Milwaukee for everyone. Stay safe and let's hope for justice.
Has anyone looked into the response time of the police on the night Demiterce Harper was tragically killed? I can't help but wonder if there were any delays that might have impacted this case. It deeply saddens me to think about what his family is going through, knowing justice hasn't been served yet. It seems like there have been ongoing issues in that area, and I hope steps are being taken to prevent further tragedies. If anyone has more info or can direct me to official statements about this, it would be appreciated. My thoughts are with Harper's loved ones during this difficult time.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the discussions around Demiterce Harper's tragic death, and I can't stop thinking about the role of local businesses in these situations. It's really concerning to hear that Mr. J's Lounge had its liquor license issues even before these incidents. If businesses aren't complying with regulations, it seems like it could contribute to an unsafe environment. I feel for Harper's family and what they must be going through, knowing that this tragedy might have been prevented with stricter oversight earlier on.
Despite the owner now deciding not to renew the bar's license, the damage is already done for the community and Harper's loved ones. I think local officials need to take real action here—not just close the bar, but also work on improving safety measures in the whole area to ensure no family has to suffer like this again.
Thoughts? How much responsibility do you think local businesses have in ensuring community safety, especially when there's a history of violence in the vicinity?
Stay safe, everyone.
