Has anyone else been following the memorial that Gelisha’s local community has set up? I came across photos of the vigil held in her honor, and it really struck me how much love and support there is for her and her family. It must be incredibly comforting for them to see how her life touched so many people. From what I’ve read, she was deeply cherished, not only by her immediate family but also by neighbors and friends who described her warmth and kindness. This tragic loss feels like it’s amplified by the sheer potential her vibrant life held and the dreams she had for her kids. It breaks my heart to think of her children growing up without her, and I can only hope that the outpouring of love from the community can offer them some solace in the difficult days ahead. Hopefully, those responsible will be found soon so that her family can finally have some closure.
