Has anyone else been following the case of Javoni Liddell and the other victims in Milwaukee? I just can't stop thinking about the role of technology in solving these horrible crimes. The use of cellphone data and even that selfie taken at the crime scene just blows my mind. It makes me grateful for the advancements in forensics and digital investigation that help bring justice, or at least some answers, to the families who lost their loved ones in such a senseless way.
I keep wondering about Birkley taking that selfie—what were they thinking? It seems so reckless and brazen. Did they believe they wouldn't be caught, or was it just a twisted part of their plan? It makes me so sad for the victims’ families, knowing these actions were so intentional. No one should ever have to endure losing loved ones to such violence, and the lack of closure must be so overwhelming. My heart goes out to all the families involved, as they face each day with this unimaginable pain.
