Has anyone else looked into how Elya’s community involvement might have impacted ongoing investigations? She was so active and well-loved in her area, participating in fairs and events, and managing her business, Bitter Creek Candle and Supply Company. It makes me wonder if anyone in her large network might have known something but hasn't spoken up either out of fear or because they don't know how. This case is especially gutting considering how vibrant and full of life she was. It's a small community in Ashland, and you'd think someone would have noticed if anything was amiss, given how involved and visible she was. Could it be that community connections might help push this investigation forward or provide officers with tips they've been missing? Anyone familiar with the local response or feeling able to share how the fundraising efforts for her children have been going? In times like this, it’s so important to rally around them and make sure they know that their mom’s community is there for them. It's the least we can do after such a senseless tragedy.
