Hi everyone,
I wanted to touch on something that's been on my mind about Ron Cirino's case. For those who are familiar, Ron was tragically killed last year near 23rd and Greenfield. While the lack of progress in the investigation is deeply concerning, something that stood out to me is how the community has come together to commemorate his life by lighting candles. It speaks volumes about how deeply Ron was loved and the collective need for healing.
Forty candles have been lit so far, which signifies not only the outpouring of love for Ron but also the community's firm stance against the violence that claimed his life. Each candle seems to represent a voice calling for justice, a reminder of who he was beyond the headlines.
Does anyone else find these acts of remembrance comforting, or maybe even inspiring? For me, it shows solidarity in times of tragedy and underscores our shared human experience. Let's continue to support Ron’s family and friends and hope that one day soon, this case will see a resolution. Thoughts and prayers are with all those missing him.
Stay safe, everyone. ?
