It's difficult to read about Doyle W. Marney-Gregory's case without feeling a deep sense of loss for those who knew and loved him. What really stands out to me is how his life, and sadly his death, highlight a much larger issue that leaves too many families in pain. Gun violence is an epidemic, taking away people like Doyle who were loved and brought happiness to those around them. It's upsetting to think that there's still no closure for his family, with no suspects publicly identified. I can't imagine their frustration and longing for justice. Those of us following Doyle's story need to keep the conversation going to hopefully spur some action or breakthrough in the investigation. My heart goes out to his family and children who have to navigate life without him. ?️
