I’ve been following the case of Khampha Phanhtourath, and one part of it that's really been haunting me is the time of day it happened—8:46 a.m. It’s just after people are starting their day. Maybe he was on his way to work or running morning errands. It just shows how unpredictable and senseless this violence is. It really makes you think about his family and how they must have heard the news of his passing. Just as they were beginning their day, everything changed forever. Also, can we talk about the role the community is playing in this investigation? It’s so critical right now. If anyone might have seen something or knows more about the suspect, I hope they come forward. We need to support each other and help bring some peace to Khampha’s loved ones. My heart is with them in this incredibly difficult time.
