I have been following this case closely, and my heart truly goes out to the Mallory family. It's been troubling me to think about how such an ordinary evening turned into a lifelong tragedy for them. I can't help but wonder about Leslie Bost's motives. It's startling that his own sister, who lived right there, had no clue about his intentions or mindset. She even sat with the Mallorys on their porch not long before the shooting. How does someone shift from being a familiar face to committing such a horrendous act? The complexity of human behavior is baffling. I'm also reflecting on what the community might see in hindsight. Is there a way neighbors or loved ones can pick up on warning signs before something so catastrophic happens? Just thinking out loud and hoping others might have insights or thoughts on this.
