I was reading about the tragic case of Vincent L. Hamilton and can't help but feel a deep sense of frustration with the lack of progress in solving his murder. It's been over a year, and there's still no resolution or answers for his grieving family. I think about his loved ones every day, how they must be coping with such a huge loss in their lives. August 25th, 2022, was an especially violent day in Milwaukee, and yet it seems like there's minimal movement on finding the people responsible for all that devastation. Vincent deserves justice. That's all any victim should be entitled to, and it's sad when cases grow cold for whatever reason. We've heard from the authorities urging anyone with information to step forward, but I wonder if these efforts are reaching the right ears. Are people scared to talk? Is there more that can be done to make them feel safe enough to share what they know? In times like these, community support and pressure can sometimes make all the difference. Let's keep talking about Vincent, spreading awareness, and supporting each other so that the authorities stay motivated and whoever knows something feels compelled to come forward. Hoping for strength and peace for his family and friends.
