Hey everyone, I'm curious if anyone has seen Richard Gorbet's case mentioned in any local Idaho news outlets lately? I remember when it first happened, there was a bit of local coverage, but it seems to have dropped off the radar completely. I wonder if public interest dwindled partly because he left on foot, making it seem less suspicious at first glance? It's puzzling that a vulnerable adult like Richard seemingly vanished without a trace and without setting off much alarm. Has anyone heard if there’s been any renewed efforts or searches organized by the community recently? With him being so dependent on family, you'd think someone would have seen something or pieced together some hints by now. Keep an eye out for any updates, and let's keep talking about this to hopefully help bring answers to his loved ones.

Has anyone considered the weather conditions in Horseshoe Bend on the night Richard disappeared? I remember reading a report that the evening of May 25th, 2018, was cooler than usual for this time of year, and it did get quite chilly overnight. Given that Richard left on foot wearing just a t-shirt and shorts, I wonder if he might have become disoriented or sought shelter somewhere due to the cold. It's concerning to think about how unprepared he might have been for the dropping temperatures, especially considering he hadn't left his home in years. If anyone in the area remembers anything unusual from that night or knows of any places Richard might have tried to take refuge, it could be helpful to reach out to the authorities. Let's keep the discussion going in hopes that someone recalls something that can provide some clues about what might have happened.

Hey everyone, I've been following Richard Joseph Gorbet's case for a while, and something that's been sticking with me is the isolation part. It's strange how someone can just vanish like that. It's clear Richard was really reliant on his family and didn't venture out much. I can't help but wonder if this played a role in what happened. It must have been tough for him to adjust if he suddenly found himself alone and away from the familiar surroundings of his home. Horseshoe Bend isn’t that big, right? So, someone must have seen something. I’m curious if there were any sightings or if the police looked into folks who might have known him from before he became more sheltered. Could the argument that night have pushed him to try to go somewhere new? I feel like there has to be more to this story that we just don’t know yet.
