I can’t even imagine the pain Deputy Allred's family must still be going through, especially his daughter Gina, who was just a kid when it all happened. What stands out the most to me is her continued fight to keep Norman behind bars. It’s incredibly commendable but must also be incredibly draining for her to relive those memories over and over during parole hearings. I hope she finds strength and support from the community and the law enforcement family that stood by her father’s principles. It makes me think about the ripple effects that violent crimes have on families and communities for decades. My heart goes out to all those who remember and honor Deputy Allred’s courage and sacrifice.

Hey everyone. I've been thinking a lot about the impact on families like Deputy Allred's after such a tragic event. It breaks my heart to think about Gina Vinecourt growing up without her dad, especially since she was just a little girl when he was murdered. I can't even imagine the strength it must take for her to continue advocating against Norman's release all these years later. It's honestly appalling that Norman's sentence was reduced over time. I get that legal systems change, but it seems so unfair to the victims. What do y'all think? It feels like a never-ending battle for families to see justice truly served, and it must be so exhausting for them. I'm just hoping they have a strong support system. Anyone know more about how Gina's been doing or if there are ways we can support Deputy Allred’s family and the broader law enforcement community affected by this?
