I recently stumbled upon the case of Linda Kay Moreno and her daughter Danielle, and it has left me with so many questions. I was particularly struck by how kind and deeply involved Linda was in her community, especially through her floral business and Bible study group. It's clear she touched many lives in Kennewick and beyond. I find it so hard to reconcile how something so violent could happen to someone who gave so much to those around her. I keep coming back to the 911 call Danielle made—what must have been going through her mind at that moment? It's just devastating to think about their last moments and how quickly they were taken from those who loved them. Does anyone have insight into the initial stages of the investigation? I wonder if there were any leads or if community members ever came forward with any information that might have helped. Sometimes it feels like these cases stall too quickly, and families are left without closure. If anyone knows more about how the community rallied after their deaths or if there have been any recent updates, please share. Linda and Danielle deserve justice, and it feels like keeping their story alive is the least we can do.
