I’ve been following the case of Philip Hamlin and just can’t stop thinking about how unexpected and surreal the entire situation is. It's truly shocking that someone like Shane Chamberlain, who had no recorded history of violence, could commit such an atrocity. I find myself wondering if anyone in the community noticed any unusual behavior from him leading up to that day? It’s terrifying to think how things can change in an instant, especially for someone as beloved and seemingly safe as Mr. Hamlin. My heart goes out to Bethany and the rest of the family, knowing they not only lost a loved one but had to endure such a traumatic event. How does a community even begin to heal from something like this?
