Has anyone else been following the testimonies in the Deszaun Smallwood case? I’m absolutely amazed by the bravery of the witnesses who came forward despite the pressures of the "No Snitch Code." It takes a lot of courage to stand up, especially in a community where there's so much distrust of the police. Their actions ensured Justice was served for Deszaun and helped prevent more pain from spreading. It’s just so important we recognize and support individuals like them who are willing to do what's right, even when it's not easy. My thoughts are with Deszaun's family and all who loved him. I hope these brave testimonies can inspire some trust and healing in the community too.
