I was deeply moved by the bravery shown during the SPU shooting, especially by Jon Meis. It's hard not to think about what could've happened if he hadn't stepped in when he did. Using pepper spray to disarm someone with a shotgun took incredible courage and quick thinking. It's just so sad that despite Jon's heroic actions, Paul Lee still lost his life. I can't imagine the mix of emotions Jon must be dealing with, having saved lives but also witnessing such a tragedy. My heart goes out to Paul's family and everyone affected. I'm curious if Jon has spoken about that day much or how he's been coping since. Has anyone seen any recent interviews or articles about him?
