Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Cory Page, and something that really struck me was the initial response from the community. It's always shocking when someone so young and full of life is taken too soon, especially in such a violent manner. I read that Cory was well-liked in University Place and had a lot of friends who were absolutely devastated when they heard the news.
One aspect that I've been thinking about is how these kinds of events affect the people left behind—Cory's family, friends, neighbors, and everyone in their community. I can't even imagine the pain and confusion they must have felt, both during the investigation and after hearing about the guilty verdict. It's like a ripple effect that touches everyone connected to the victim.
For those who knew Cory, it must have been incredibly difficult to process everything. It seems so incomprehensible that a disagreement over something as trivial as clothing could escalate to such a tragic end. I hope they have some support systems in place to help them cope and heal from all of this.
Thanks for letting me share my thoughts. Cases like this remind us of the importance of cherishing those we love and seeking peaceful resolutions in times of conflict. Please keep Cory and his family in your hearts.
Take care,

Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the whole situation involving Cory Page's tragic death and one thing that's sticking with me is the role mental health might have played in all of this. It's so devastating that an argument about something as mundane as clothes could spiral into such a violent and irreversible outcome. I wonder if there were underlying issues that might have been overlooked by friends or family, or if there were warning signs that could've signaled things could get really bad between Cory Page and Cory Randon Lewis.
While the trial revealed a lot, I can't help but feel for both families involved, who are likely dealing with a huge range of emotions. Page's family suffered an unimaginable loss but I imagine Lewis's family is also struggling with the impact of his actions and subsequent conviction.
I'd really like to know if any mental health professionals weighed in during the trial or if the court considered any psychological factors at play. It makes me wonder what preventive measures or interventions might have changed the outcome for these young men.
Was hoping to hear your thoughts, especially if anyone has more information on how mental health was addressed during the legal proceedings or not. We often focus so much on the legal aspect without considering the emotional and psychological ones that might be at play.
Thanks for sharing any insights or info you might have!
