Has anyone else noticed how strange the timing is regarding the altercation Barbara had before she went missing? I mean, Bluewater Acres is pretty remote, and Forest Road 180 isn't exactly a spot you'd expect someone to be left alone, especially at her age. Does anyone have more details on the person she was traveling with? Why did this person leave her there, and what was the fight about? It just seems off to me that there's so little info about the other party involved and how it all transpired. It's such a tragic situation, and I can't help but wonder if there's more to this story. Maybe someone out there has seen or heard something and doesn't even know it's important. Stay safe, everyone, and let's hope for a breakthrough soon.
Hi everyone,
I've been thinking about the terrain around Forest Road 180 in the Zuni Mountains, where Barbara Gould was last seen. It struck me how rugged and dense the area is. I've driven through similar places, and I know how easy it is to become disoriented, especially for someone who might not be familiar with the wilderness or isn't prepared for sudden changes in weather. Given the season, temperatures would have been pretty low at night in mid-November. I wonder if enough focus has been given to checking all possible paths or trails she might have taken if she was trying to find her way back to a more populated area. It seems crucial to consider natural shelters or landmarks she might have gravitated towards.
Anyone who has experience hiking or navigating terrains like that have insights on what could possibly come into play for search efforts? Maybe there's something specific that could help future searches or spark new ideas for where people haven't looked yet.
Stay safe, everyone.
