He was known to use drugs but was not known to go on 'benders' where he would dissapear. That is concerning. Just because he did drugs doesn't mean he wasn't functioning. There are lots of people that do drugs and have jobs, families and lives. This includes alcoholics. I hope this fact that he was a known user hasn't hindered the investigation. Also, the car parked sideways points to someone parking in a hurry. I wonder if he got a bad batch of drugs and it affected him to where he went off and hid ultimately leading to his end and that is why he hasn't been found.

I was just thinking about something that's been bothering me regarding Billy Joe Darwin's case. Does anyone else find it strange that his car was parked sideways? It's such an odd detail that doesn't seem to fit with anything else we know. Could this suggest he might have been planning to leave in a hurry, or maybe something happened that caused him to park like that? I'm not necessarily leaning toward any one scenario, but that particular fact has been nagging at me.
Would love to hear your thoughts or if there's anything similar in cases you've looked at before. It just seems like such a random detail that might actually hold some significance if we could understand more about it.
