I've been thinking a lot about Charissa Dobbins' little boy who lost his mom so suddenly and in such a tragic way. My heart goes out to that little guy. I can't even begin to imagine what kind of toll this must have on him as he grows up. It's incredibly unfair that such a young life has to deal with the consequences of actions outside their control, especially when it comes to adults making dangerous choices around drugs and violence. I hope he's surrounded by loving family members who can provide the support and care he deserves. This whole case is a powerful reminder of how the repercussions of crime can spread beyond the immediate victims. Has anyone read about any resources or support systems set up for him, or any community efforts to help kids impacted by similar situations?
