I can't stop thinking about the daughters in this case. It's gut-wrenching to imagine what they must have gone through, especially the morning of the incident. Taking them to breakfast like it was just another day and then leaving them with cryptic texts—I can’t wrap my head around it. The 8-year-old is just a child, and the older daughter was thrust into a nightmare no one should have to face. It's crucial for the community to come together to support them. They're going to need tremendous love and counseling to navigate this unimaginable trauma. My heart goes out to them and to everyone affected. This really brings to light how domestic violence can devastate entire families and communities.
