Hi everyone,
I've been following Evangeline Dasalla's case and something has been really nagging at me. How distressing must it have been for her son to receive that text message from his mother? I can’t even begin to imagine the terror and confusion he must've felt. For Evangeline to send such a message, she must have been incredibly brave and worried about him. It’s truly haunting, and my heart goes out to her son who was caught in such a horrifying situation. One can only hope he is being surrounded by love and support as he navigates through this tragedy.
Also, I'm curious if anyone knows more about how her son is coping or if there's been any kind of community support set up for him? This must be such a heavy burden to carry, and I'm sure any help or encouragement would be invaluable to him right now.
Sending strength to all who knew and loved Evangeline. Every time I read about this case, I think about the light she must have been to those around her.

Hi everyone,
I recently stumbled upon the case of Evangeline Dasalla, and one thing that’s been on my mind is the impact of Kenneth Thomas's military background on the case. It's deeply unsettling to think about how his skills as a designated sharpshooter played a role in this tragic incident. I can't imagine the anguish her family must feel, knowing that someone she trusted was capable of such violence.
Does anyone else think that his military training might have influenced the severity of the act? Was there any discussion during the trial about this aspect? My heart goes out to Evangeline’s loved ones as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on how his background might have factored into the proceedings.
Sending thoughts and support to all affected.
