I’ve been following the case of Deputy Justin DeRosier, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact on his family, especially his wife and little daughter. I just read an article about the memorial services they held, and it really hit home how much he meant to those around him. It’s comforting to see the outpouring of support from the community and fellow officers, but nothing can truly fill the void left behind. His dedication to his work and the love for his family was evident from everything I’ve read. I can't help but hope for the family’s healing and strength in the wake of such a senseless tragedy. It's also a stark reminder of the constant risks our officers face every day.
