I keep thinking about that late Friday night leading into Saturday morning when John was killed. It's haunting to know that neighbors heard those gunshots around midnight, but no one saw anything definitive. I wonder if there were any security cameras in the area at A St. and 106th St. E. that might have captured something. With most homes and businesses having surveillance these days, it feels like there could be another angle to explore—maybe even dashcam footage from cars that passed by earlier in the night. My thoughts are with John's family and friends; it must be so frustrating not having any solid leads after all this time. Hopefully, someone remembers seeing something unusual and reaches out to the authorities soon.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the timeline leading up to John's murder, especially the noises reported by the neighbors. It’s interesting that gunshots were heard around midnight, but John wasn’t discovered until almost an hour and a half later. It makes me wonder what might have happened during that gap. Was someone hesitating nearby before the tragic event or did something else occur that caused this delay?
I've read about cases where people passed by without realizing what they were hearing were gunshots. It’s chilling to imagine the possibility of someone potentially seeing something and not even realizing the gravity of the situation. If you live or lived in that area around the time, even the smallest detail you might recall could be a clue that helps piece together that night.
It’s devastating to think of the loss his family and friends are going through, and I truly hope more information comes to light soon. Stay strong, everyone—it’s small communities like this and forums like ours that often bring about the breakthroughs needed in such cases.
Rest in peace, John. We're all hoping for answers.
I can't stop thinking about the community basketball games John organized every summer. Those gatherings were such a highlight for so many of us, bringing people together in a positive way. His enthusiasm on the court was infectious, and he had this incredible ability to make everyone feel welcome, regardless of their skill level. It’s so painful to imagine those courts without his presence.
The area where he was found isn't far from where these games would often take place, which makes it even more unsettling. For those of us familiar with John's love for sports and his community spirit, losing him like this has left a void. Has anyone heard anything more about potential witnesses or surveillance footage that could narrow down the suspect list? It’s just so confusing how something like this could happen without anyone seeing anything. I hope that, with time, someone will come forward with information that could make a difference. John deserves justice, and his family deserves answers.
